Chinese herbal medicine can restore ovarian function effectively and promptly and can treat premature ovarian failure
A case study from Taiwan examines the treatment of premature ovarian failure using Chinese herbal medicine. Clomid taken over 6 months had not changed the FSH and LH levels from the postmenopausal range. A course of 4 months treatment with Chinese herbal medicine based on Zuo Gui Wan induced ovulation and the patient fell pregnant. The study concluded that Chinese herbal medicine can restore ovarian function effectively and promptly and offers another option for treating infertility in patients with premature ovarian failure.
